26!!!! old fart now....

so birthday and christmas have both come and gone in the blink of an eye. we got our advanced open waters on my birthday, rounding the day off with a v cool night dive. i vaguely remember christmas eve (juleaften) due to the evil evil vodka buckets - thought all had sworn never to go there again. there are some rumours of me and michelle sandwich dancing our thai dive instructor matee..... christmas day started at 9.30 with guro and i waking up hungover marc and michelle in santa hats with sock stockings for them to only say 'are they f***ing serious!' they were much more excited when they saw we'd got them new christmas pants! we'd exchanged pressies the night before in norwegian jul stylee :) christmas day was truely uneventful. we snorkelled, the weather was beautiful, we lounged by the pool. planned christmas turkey dinner didn't happen, no-one felt like eating before 8pm! guro and i took m+m out to an italian recommended by our new friend joanne for some posh nosh... unfortunately by the time we'd finished they'd closed up the whole restaurant and still not brought marc his main meal! very unimpressed, he had a pancake from a street stall as his christmas dinner :( quite funny in retrospect....
today we have done even less and loved every minute of chilling out. great to hear from all families and friends, thanks for photos and videos - wish we were with you.
