changover.......

...and anybody thats had more than a couple of large changs knows what we're talking about! not a constructive day today but have finally dragged ourselves to computers to fill you all in.
so the suprise!! guro just managed not to pee herself with excitement as we took a taxi to an unknown destination in bangkok. turned out to be heading to an amazing, superb, awe inspriring banquet (all you can eat buffet) at the hyatt. previously recommended by tim and floreda (thanks guys) we now know why. there was soo much quality food, guros little norwegian mouth watering at the sight of all the meat, marc falling in love with the cheeseboard (he's half french and they only do laughing cow cheese in se asia). i almost climbed into the chocolate fountain whilst michelle worked her way steadily through the annual thai quota for fish. great great meal, we nursed our very sore bellies back and onto an overnight bus to koh tao. for once a quality bus but just as we were settling in we realised there was no way we'd get any sleep. a couple of (i'm so proud) pissed english lads sat infront of us and proceeded to provoke the whole bus for the next 10 hours. they seemed to be about 17 and obssessed with talking loudly about various bodily fluids and functions. some guys on the bus snapped and fisticuffs were narrowly avoided. when the bus pulled in we were promised a free for all but fortunately they were headed to koh phangan so stayed on the bus. would love to know what happened at the next stop! will blog about koh toa later, head just isn't functioning now. byee x
