sydney backpacker stylee!
so, left to fend for ourselves we headed straight down to the car mart to blow all our remaining cash on anything with 4 wheels. guro will tell you this story so far, and i'm sure she's a car that will provide us with many of those "its so funny when you look back on it" tales....other than this we started sorting out our lives, doing all those things that we'd put off until we got to sydney. obviously we're still doing that now but thats the way it always goes.
the fun stuff was meeting up with span, hanging out on the beach and shopping!! span's working just outside sydney so we met up for a day at the beach followed by a few bottles of wine in newtown (where she lives) - possibly the gayest place in sydney! we had another night out on the friday in kings cross this time, and to our delight lance from neighbours was serving behind the bar!! much amusement, all night. great fun, span brought seb along - a locum that she's now sort of dating. we headed to the blue mountains the next day, needing to feel like we were in some way heading toward melbourne and some paid work... but as always we need a holiday first!

Snow in Bergen :-) just had to say! And of course that also makes chaos everywhere, but we like it!
I think the looong christmas and new years comment is floating somewhere in cyberspace... so just want to say thanks for very pretty present, happy new year, january sucks without snow, want to join u in warm land, my skin is almost seethrough and blueish milkywhite (desperate need of a TAN), got secret job offer in my company to be office manager (dont know what to do about that yet), in oslo last weekend to discuss job offer presented above (gry is well) and going to Bømlo with some friends this weekend (fishing in the storm), hope we dont get knocked over by big wave!

Where are you two.. long time no hear nothin'.. we miss you :0( have you forgotten us or have you found replacment travelling buddies?.. it's that damned irish woman isn't it?! ... tell her hello from us .. we hope she is behaving and not leading you astray.. stay away from the vodka!.. and we hope amy is being good too :0) ... we are in Yogyakarta and drowning in our own sweat in the mornings and the torrential rain in the afternoons! .. not sure how our return to Jakarta and transfer to the airport is going to work out.. rent-a-dingy maybe?.. will keep you posted! love & laughs m&m x
