Men in uniform...

I did it again. Got us in trouble with men in uniform. This time they were policemen and pulled us over when we were driving to a call. Mr policeman comes up to the car and slightly sarcastically askes me why I think he has pulled us over. About to confess to every crime known to man, I tell him that I really don't know! He looks at my seat belt, and askes if I only just put that on? I then realise that I had the belt under my arm as we passed them at the last cross roads because I was putting sunscreen on. Luckily the sunscreen is only half rubbed in, so Mr policeman decides I might be telling the truth..... Dissapointed, they turn to Caroline and ask her for her drivers licence instead. Thanks to parents Neale, the little pink card can easily be produced. The policemen take it away with them and tries to find something wrong with them (Caroline murmuring: we own your ass, of course I can drive with a British licence). Failing that they turn to the car, hope now glimering in their eyes. They rubb their hands together and ask what are we doing here, and were do we stay? We tell them that we are working for the vets and staying on the vets farm. We also add that this is their car. And all hope leaves the policemen. "It's a vets car? Ok. You have a nice day girls. " And with that they are off (after a little warning to always wear your belt properly and to check with the traffic people wether you need an international licence), and we go to remove a cows eye.
