We're tourists again!!!
Finally finished our hard work - 3 months of routine and getting up early! Ballarat was great, treated famous snakes (it was in the local paper the next day!!!), wombat babies and koalas. Cdecided Rhodes veterinary clinic was not as bad as its reputation. Or well... it was, but it was still quite amusing, lovely staff and farmers to keep her entertained. Have managed to do a few not working related things the last month as well - found no gold at Sovereign hill (but did buy an emu!), saw Cirque the Soleil (fantastic) and visited Simon, Fi and Hamish again. And we saw bogans!!! These are the special people of Colac - easily recognised by the baby bump + school uniform/track suit or rat tail if they're male. Saw them at Cindy's birthday party in Colac (Cindy is Kirstys flatmate, Kirsty was C nurse in Colac). Also saw a very funny Ardal O'Hanlan (Father Dougal!!) sunday evening for Elses birthday.
Now we are staying with Simon sister, Tanja, in Melbourne. She is an absolute star for taking us in!
Will stay there til thursday whilst we learn to kite surf!! had our first lesson today, so much fun!!! Even though I have to admit that C is a little bit more talented than me. Will definitely catch up with her though!!!!
And to our great relief Qantas was playing our game this morning and fixed our tickets and slagged off STA for being rubbish.
