We are now stuck in Whangarei where they are expecting 250ml of rain over the next 20 hours... Also wind of up to 130kph - time to get out the kites?? Or not as they are considering calling it a civil emergency. We are safely tucked away in a caravan park with tv and spa though, so recon we'll be ok :)Hoping to get back to Auckland tomorrow for another evening with Quentin and Nicky. Will let you know!
