2 days to go ..
We're married!!!!!!!I guess you all know but 5 days ago my wife and i said the "i do's" and were very beautifully pronounced wife and wife :D We have a certificate to prove it n'all!
So we've survived thus far, now the reception ..
For those that sat nav, the post code for the venue with the rather large tent in it is RG9 6JF.
Guests for the full day arrive 3pm for us expected at 3.30 (i would expect us a little late. we're always a little late .. ) We thought we'd try a bit of an entrance! We're hoping evening guests to arrive around 8pm but feel free to be a bit early, a bit late. It's all just a guideline ;) You know how you wonder before a wedding if you need to eat, or like us you arrive and then wonder when the food'll be there, i wouldn't worry. The whole dayplan is based around eating and drinking.
Cake is planned to be served (no doubt after being expertly carved by yours' truely) around 830 to be followed by more food, DJ and dancing for all.
Transport - There is muchos parking in the field (on the right just avoid the campers) .. if it's raining we know a guy with a tractor for later! All cars can be left overnight as we've buses arranged to get you home - well back to wycombe and marlow anyhow. We have a 20 seater mini bus picking up from the Holiday Inn, Cressex at 2pm - planned mainly for our foreign visitors to arrive a little early to the field as it'll then swing by the crown plaza marlow (2.40) and the premiere travel lodge by the bridge (2.45) to get back to the field before we're there, we hope. Homewards runs will be from 11.30-1.30 ish.
So this is all for now, it got late. Any worries phone - caroline 07879692798 guro 07908451746
See you Saturday, Wedding part deux xxxx
.. and now for the improtant bit i forgot .. directions for those who don't sat nav;
From Marlow take the Henley Rd A4155 (north of the river) towards Henley. You'll pass through Mill End, then pass the Hambledon estate on your right (big field with signs for upcoming horsey events) and its the next turning on your right signed Fawley. Go to the top of the little windey road looking out for deer and checking out the vine groves, at the T junction turn right. Follow this little road past a derilict pub for sale on your left and its the next field on the left with the big tent in it. Drive into field, park appropriately.
From henley take the same Fawley turning, you'll see a white cottage on the corner as you turn. Then follow above directions. You can tell i don't drive from this way often!
Ps. Having seen the marquee today the floor isn't perfect for heels, so some emergency handbag shoes probably a plan!
